Azure is everywhere, but most people work with it without really understanding it. In this training we lay the foundation: what is the cloud actually, how is Azure structured, and why do the choices you make matter? No slides on autopilot, but real understanding of what you're doing.
What you'll learn
The AZ-900 exam (Azure Fundamentals) tests whether you understand the basics of cloud computing and Azure. Think compute, storage, networking, identity, governance and pricing. Sounds dry, but it doesn't have to be.
In my training we work through those topics in a way that sticks. We connect every concept to recognisable situations, so you don't just pass the exam but actually understand why things work the way they do.
AZ-900 — Official certification training (MCT)
This is an official AZ-900 certification training. We work with the learning objectives and materials from Microsoft Learn, aligned with the exam structure, because I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Of course we translate the content to your practice, but the training is fully Microsoft-supported and designed to prepare you — if you want — for obtaining the AZ-900 certificate.
What Microsoft says you'll learn
- Cloud concepts: what cloud computing is and why you use it
- Azure architecture and core services (compute, storage, networking)
- Management & governance: costs, compliance and basic security
Who is this for?
- Professionals who work with (or are about to work with) Azure and want to understand the bigger picture
- Teams that need a shared foundation before specialising further
- People who want the AZ-900 certificate, but with genuine understanding
No prior knowledge required. Just curiosity.
How this translates to my approach
We make it concrete with recognisable choices. For example: you describe one scenario (a website/app, a data solution, or an internal environment) and together we "plot" that scenario onto Azure: which services belong in compute/storage/network, what does shared responsibility mean, and where are your governance controls (identity, cost, policies). That way you don't just learn the terms, but also how Azure fits together as a whole.
